Wipe a hard drive.

Is there any quick, easy way I can wipe my iBook G4's hard drive, leaving only the operating system?

The best way to do it is with the original OSX DVD, if you still have it, run the disk and run Erase & Install.

Hope this helps,
Charlie

If you want to keep all your applications and stuff, without having to reinstalling them after reformatting. You can just make a new Administrator account and then delete your old account (though doing this doesn't allow you to use the same short name again). Or you can just go through your user and go into the sub folders and delete all your data?
