| Pages: default language
How do I change the default language for spelling in Pages? The Blank template has English as the default; I want to change this to British English. I can create a new template, but is it possible to change the default for all templates?

What version of Mac OS X are you using. In Snow Leopard, the setting I think you seek is in the Language & Text pane of System Preferences.

In a Pages document where you are typing, right click > Spelling and Grammar > Show spelling and grammar > select the dictionary. That should apply to the next documents too.
