Lost GarageBand files

GarageBand saved project files and exported MP3 files sent to the GarageBand folder inside the Music folder are not visible to me from Finder since I upgraded from 10.5.6 to 10.5.8. However, their names are seen in Recent Items, and the Find function says they exist, and if I close and reopen GarageBand the files can be opened from its Recent Items button; only I myself cannot see them from the Finder. I tried making all hidden files visible, and that does not help. Can anyone tell me what to do to see these files? Thanks.
