iCal install problem Hi everyone It looks like I've finally found a good osx forum, woo! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had problems getting iSync and iCal installed. I've downloaded iCal 1.0.2 from the Apple website but when trying to install iSync, the intaller insists that I need iCal 1.0.1 or higher installed. I checked the version that I downloaded and it comes up as iCal 1.0. I've tried downloading the latest verision from apple a few times but this keeps happening. Any suggestions? I know there have been problems with the iCal download page but I haven't found anything similar to my problem on the web or forum posts. I've done a search and there is only one copy of iCal on my machine, which is still 1.0. Its very strange. I'm not so bothered about iCal but I'd like to get iSync working. Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm running a G4 350 Sawtooth with 10.2.4. 768mb/9 and 60Gb, Delta/44 sound card. Cheers, Craig

Did you try tossing out iCal and all it's preferences, emptying the trash, then installing the latest iCal downloaded from apple.com? You might need to completely remove the old before installing the new.

Thanks Twister, got it sorted in the end - I don't like using Software Update but it managed to download the right version.
