 When New Safari?
Hearing about all the "leaked" versions of Safari that include tabs and what-not ... and patiently waiting for Apple to offically release them I'm getting real tired of the things that don't work in the released version of Safari - ie: some secure sites, some javascript stuff (empty folder in Hotmail for example). Does any one have a clue as to when Steve will grace us with a newer version?

Never. It was a teaser. Newer version will be final version, at WWDC. I think that's in June or July. If you're an impatient guy, many ways exist to get Safari v71 (very very handy newer version of Safari, nothing to do with the official one - tabs, tabgroups etc.). I can't tell you how, sorry.

wwdc just two month's away... i'm getting kinda excited. what does everyone think will come out there? a safari release seems fairly likely, they would probably release some panther only apps for show, dare i say ppc-970? if iPods and that music service don't come out in the next few weeks, i'm sure they are getting held until wwdc too... i'm thinking that now with macworld changed to create that more hardware/software will be released at the developer conventions... any onther thoughts?

It is out there. Check softwareupdate, or the new threads here for safari

Look on http://www.versiontracker.com for Safari add ons. I have a few and hotmail and banking sites work fine for me with v60.
