    Yes, great!

    So, between these two lines:
    <VoiceEng>
    <MicVolume>

    Type or copy/paste this:
    <ACG>0</ACG>

    and that is a ZERO not an OH

    So the final part of the document should look like this:
    </SD>
    <VoiceEng>
    <ACG>0</ACG>
    <MicVolume>
    <AppleHDAEngineInput.3A1B.2C0.2C1.2C0.3A1>70</AppleHDAEngineInput.3A1B.2C0.2C1.2C0.3A1>
    <AppleHDAEngineInput.3A1B.2C0.2C1.2C1.3A2>100</AppleHDAEngineInput.3A1B.2C0.2C1.2C1.3A2>
    </MicVolume>
    <SpeakerVolume>75</SpeakerVolume>
    </VoiceEng>
    </Lib>
    </config>

    If you're using a Modem / router ... sometimes they can seem to get a little 'tired'
    so i turn mine off for 5 minutes while i have a cup of tea if something like this happens,
    its quick, easy and painless first thing i try

    Also, if your skype test call works well, tell your other party to do a test call too,
    it may not be at your side at all..

    Microsoft have bought Skype recently and are changing some important technology behind how Skype actually works, also in the UK here, the phone companies are doing a lot of work on the whole phone / internet system country-wide, and several internet companies print these 'outage' and 'maintenance' details on their website.
    Good Luck
