Safari and the command key

most of you might know about this, but i think this is one of the features that makes Safari the best browser.

ok, obviously click + command opens a link in a new tab....

but did you know:

holding command while opening a bookmark opens it in a new tab...

holding command while hitting enter on the google search bar opens your results in a new tab...

and, holding command while clicking a bookmark in your bookmarks bar opens it in a new tab as well.

neat tricks, i think. i've never seen this documented, so i thought i'd post it, even though i figured these out awhile ago.

It's the same in IE with new windows... command-click ANYTHING and it opens in a new window. Now if only it had tabs... but then it would be more competitive with Safari. Aagh, hard choices!
