| Photoshop or system error?
I was working in PS7, saved a tiny 1.6 mb file, and when i returned the next day, it wouldn't open. Booted into 9 with PS6, i got this message when i tried to open the file... "This document has been damaged by a disk error. The most likely causes of this error are: a defective disk drive, a defective disk cable, or in correct peripheral cable termination. Some of the pixels in this document may be invalid." I opened the file, and one layer was completely distorted, with bands of color, which was no big deal, i was glad i was able to open it. i saved it as a new file, and the file size increased to 1.8mb. Now i had this issue before, and i think it's more an issue with PhotoShop than anything else. Because my work goes on this same partition, no problems wt those files. Anyone know the cause or a solution, or things i need to verify within the system? There were few permission problems that i fixed with the install CD this morning.
