| How do I tell X to open all files in this app.
Is there an easy way, or some universal controller, to have all .psd's open in Photoshop and all .html or .cfm or .php files open in dreamweaver. Things like that? I'm tired of BBedit always being the default for web files or preview trying to open a PSD. I know i can get info and change a file to always open in a certain app, but i want to tell the system that all psd's, forever, should open in photoshop. I just feel like I'm missing the easy, quick fix here. |

Highlight a .psd file - go to Get Info -(command-i) then Open With and you can set to open all psd files with Photoshop, do the same with the others.

Ok, i thought i've done that before but i'll try again. The funny thing was when it did that OS X asked me if i was certain i wanted to open all photoshop documents with photoshop. Sometime the system just seems so dumb. Thanks |

Here is another stupid issue i have. If i right click on photo.jpg it gives me a list of apps to open that file with. Now if i highlight photo.jpg and photo1.jpg, right click, OS X give me no choices except 'other'. What's up with that? |
