Gaining Keychain access My mother has an account on the family iMac. She has her own password, and that works.
But recently I tried setting up her Mail.app e-mail, only to find that Keychain wouldn't accept her Admin password.
No-one in my family can guess/tell it, so I wonder if I can reset it somehow...

We ARE talking about Jaguar now, right? I'd ONLY like to reset the Keychain password on my mother's account on that computer, NOTHING else...

Boot into another account as Admin and drag your Mothers Keychain Preference to the desktop;
user>Mother>Library>Preferences>Keychains>Mother
Don't trash it yet. Now see if you can boot into her account. Not sure if this will work.
