Finder Copy/Paste Question

Just curious. I already ordered Panther, so it doesn't really matter either way, but I was just wondering if copy/paste in the Finder is as brain-dead in Panther as it is in Jaguar.

For example, if I copy a folder and then move that folder before I paste it somewhere, the Finder can't paste it as it claims it is no longer available. Should be smarter than that.

I could understand if I deleted the file, but just moving it breaks the functionality.
