Powerbook, iMac, 2 Panther and addressbook sync...

I have a mobile that has a bluetooth (ericsson t39m), and so does my friend (sony ericsson, I don't remember the model). He has an iMac, I (will have) a Powerbook. iMac does not have the bluetooth adapter.

Question: will we be able to manage it via the Powerbook? If I create him a user to the Powerbook (on Panther), will he be able to sync his iMac's address book to my Powerbook's HIS addressbook (we definitelly need separate addressbooks!) under his user, and then from my Powerbook to his phone? Or will I have to get him an other bluetooth adapter?

(sorry frykey if there is a clear answer somewhere, I'm just particularly lazy, have changed the timeones a lot yesterday and have slept bad 2 nights.)

It should work if you have two users.
A bluetooth adapter on his iMac is probably safer though.
If he or you sync while the other user is logged in you will end up with a total mess.

It should work, yep ... I figured out 2 ways actually: isync to his idisk and then get that from the powerbook and then to the phone (does not sound fast). Or, make a new user for him, and copy his address book file to the library as his user on powerbook. What definitely would happen is being logged on the same time, with the fast user switching as in the Panther introductions by Steve. So, it starts to sound it's just faster and simplier with the adapter than switching users ... which would be really cool though.
