| Remove Finder from App Switcher? Is there a way to remove the Finder from the App (Apple-Tab) switcher? I'd like to just have the 2 or more open apps on there but obviously the Finder is always in the as well. I never need to switch to the Finder so I'd love to not have it show up there. |

| There's no easy method of doing this, nor do I know of any difficult method either. I believe you're stuck with the Finder in the application switcher. Technically, the Finder *IS* an application, so that's why its in the application switcher menu.

| I know an easy way... Force-quit the Finder! Then it won't show up in the application switcher windowlet. Or install Tinkertool and enable the Quit command in the Finder, and quit the Finder from there.

| I know a much better way. Hide the finder. There is a thread about it. http://www.macosx.com/forums/showthr...plication+dock I have launchbar and ichatAV running all the time and I hide both of them and they are neither in the app-switcher nor in the dock but still running.
