MSN Messenger, is it being dumb or normal?!

I don't know if a number of you guys use MSN Messenger but recently here in the U.S, MSN has been doing a totally weird...things... The other day the whole thing crashed and died. Not even my XP friends were able to log into messenger, and just recently (pretty much today) The Messenger icon on my dock always shows a "?" on it's self when you click it like it doesn't understand what clicking on it means turn it's self on.

So I went my Applications folder found MSN Messenger there and double click on the app to only be greeted with a install window. Why would I have to install this twice?! Why did it " un-install " itself is a better question!

AH anyway, I reinstalled it and it still can't log in to anything. Short and sweet MSN is starting to stink, really badly. I know M$ was doing that Messenger charge in Europe but I just can't help but wonder if they are going to do that here as well there for leaving free account useless. Possibly not but I can't help but wonder.

Moving on, really I don't think there is anything any of us can do to make MSN Messenger work at the time. I think it's more of a M$ issue but I be interested in hearing if anyone else is having some trouble with theirs also. As I try to contact me buddies by e-mail and tell them to get on AIM already.

If you don't have much of ram, probably Proteus is better. It's less ram hungry.
