Have I been hacked?

Internet Explorer vanished like a fart in the wind. All of a sudden.

Sharing prefs says that I cannot configure my firewall because there's another firewall software running. But I don't have one!?!?!?


Have I been hacked or what is happening?

firewall selection was turned off and displayed a message "other firewall software is running on your computer"

SOLUTION:

Type the following command:

sudo ipfw flush

[senne]

(in Applications>Utilities>Terminal)
