| Safari's become really slow
Recently, my Safari (1.2.2) has really slowed down in loading pages. I'm not exactly sure why but it seems to have affected my homepage (http://www.chron.com). Does that page load really slow for y'all too? It loads fine in IE and Netscape for me. I cleared history and emptied cache. i'm running 10.3.4 with adequate RAM and HD space.

Just tried the URL, and it loaded way slow in Safari "1.3 Developer Beta (v146)". Tried several pages on the domain too, they were all very very slow. There must be some buggy stuff on the site, or something. Tried it in Mozilla Firebird (old-ish version), and wow, what a difference, it loaded in less than a second, as apposed to around 10.

there is a safari hack to speed up pages loading. Check out search. I can't check that site now. Am downloading a huge demo. But also try to move out the safari.plist from home/Library/Preferences and repair permissions from time to time

Slower than it should in Safari, but not unlike some other sites. Loads almost instantly in Firefox.
