dual display/dual video card question

Here is what I'm running...

Dual 2 GHZ PowerMac G5
Radeon 9800 Special Edition 256 MB
----> 23" New Cinema Display
Radeon 9200 128 MB PCI
----> 1024x768 Projector

Few questions... is there anyway that I can run it so the projector is running iTunes visualizations fullscreen and the 23" screen is still usable. Also, with the 9200 and projector, I'm only getting about 24 fps fullscreen. This seems low. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could easily swap the two. What do you get for average FPS when you connect the projector to the 9800? You could also do a dual display output from the 9800, although you would need an ADC to VGA adapter.

When I use the 9800 connected to my 23" display I get a little over 60 frames a second. This is also slower than I expected, It is plenty, but I was expecting more. I'm really just interested if there is a way to have one display running the visualization while the other is still useable.

That is probably because vsync is on. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
