| I have a small conundrum. Under the system preferences control panel and in the desktop & screen saver portion thereof, I have several old folders that were added for desktop backgrounds, and after removing these folders from the harddrive, they persist in remaining in the folder listing in the preference control panel. How do I rid myself of these "ghost" folders that can't be deleted, or so it seems? Thank-you kern |

| The only way I could delete one was by trashing the preference in Users->User Home Folder->Library->Preferences->com.apple.desktop.plist and then this reset the Desktop Preference back default. Then I just re-choose my desktop picture.
