    Question Yahoo! Messenger crashing

    I'm running a G4 350 MHz, using OS X 10.3.8.

Logitech QuickCamZoom Silver, with software it took me half a day to find to get to work (no updated drives on Logitech site).

Anyway, when I log out of Yahoo Messenger with the webcam on, the app "Unexpectedly Crashes"

Any suggestions as to the reason for this happening?

Hi Belasko44 and welcome to the forum.
How did you get your usb webcam to work? Did you use macam or ioxpert drivers?
There is another way to play with the plist files in your home/Library/Preferences, but you might mess up with your login data. However, since yahoo doesn'T save any history you won't mess up too much when you delete the plist or reinstall the software.
However, does it hurt that bad to get this error after you want to quit the application (or log out)?

Welcome to Yahoo Messenger for Mac: A product that Yahoo has not updated in more than 8 months, and appears to no longer be supported by it's parent company.
Hardware Specs: 27" i5 Intel iMac w/4Gb RAM running Mac OSX 10.6.4 SnowLeopard.

True, it's been ages since the last update. Anyway, I am still using yahoo for my video chats with ppl from the darkside. And it runs pretty fine.
