| i tried it with the console tar command but i got the answer tar: Failed open to read on /dev/nrst0 <No such file or directory> stuff it stopped the process with error -50. what's that ??? malte |

| Try tar -xvf filename That usually does it for me. |

| or just use OpenUp for .tar.gz, .zip, and some .sit files. Don't use stuffit under classic because it will corrupt the .sit files. Stuffit for X seems to work fine cuz it unstuffed macster fine. |

| Thanx with tar -xfv that works, stuff it works sometimes but.... and i didn't found openup for the x beta only for dp4 where can i find it ? |

| Actually I couldn't find one for Beta either, just installed the one for DP4. Works fine. |
