| Default applications How do i set firefox as the default browser? Just an example, but i really need to know Cheers! |

| Open Safari, goto Safari > Preferences and change the default web browser to Firefox in the dropdown list. |

| And if you want control over the internet protocol helpers (so not only set Firefox in Safari or Eudora in Mail.app, but rather set _all_ of those helpers in preferences): http://www.monkeyfood.com/software/moreInternet/ - "More Internet" does just that.

| If you have Jaguar (10.2.x) then save a copy of the Internet.prefPane. Then move it in Panther to ~(your Home Folder) and it will re-appear in your System Preferences in place of the .Mac Pref pane. Then you can change the Default Browser along with Email Preferences.
