| At Last!!!
At last, the opportunity has arrived to vent my spleen. My complaints with MacOS X are shorter than Chicago Larry's ... so here goes.... 1. Why can't we have the Apple Menu back? I use FruitMenu from Unsanity. It's OK, but the OS 9 Apple Menu was MUCH better. 2. I quite like the Dock, unlike some folks, but WHY can't the icons be locked in (for example, an icon can only be removed by holding down the ALT key)? Often when I hold down an icon in the dock to look at the contextual menu, the icon slips off the Dock and dissappears in a puff of smoke. This is VERY annoying. That's it! Off my chest at last!

I am on a roll now ..... I just remembered that 10.2 had a Favorites contextual menu (scrolling down from 'GO' on the top menubar). I used this as a substitiute Apple Menu to great effect. Then Panther came along and Apple decided to get rid of it. Aaaagh!!!! I am being a bit obessive about this? Should I see my psychiatrist or should I consult a priest?

OMG, I just read a novel and didn't plan to. How long did that take? To write not read! It's true Apple have gone a bit Microslopish in combinening apps together for integration with each other so let's hope they don't do any more of that in the future. But overall everyone seems to have a majority of things covered in this post and there is to much to go back through and say agree/disagree or what if sort of thing. I'm happy with TIGER

i am a complete itunes nut, and i was slowly converted by my brother. it is a VERY powerful tool, and, of what i've seen, unmatched in terms of such a wide ranging feature set. the folder organisation, and automation is such a time saver, you soon wished you hadn't spent so much time organisng, though, as i have done it myself in the past, for years, i can see where you are coming from. also, 28,000 songs is a difficult one. EDIT: it is very late after a hard day at work. sorry for broken english. ps. my signiture is my parents PC/piece-of[shit] computer i am using tempoarily

![]() Before I updated to the newest version of Itunes it DID move the files instead of copying them. There does not seem to be an option for that now. I desperately need my folders organized but I hate having copies sitting around and its a hassle to delete them by hand is ther ANY way at all by addon or otherwise to get it back that way or will I need to find that older version of itunes? |
