Automator Lag

I installed Tiger this week and can say that I am thoroughly happy. That doesn't mean there are not potholes in the road. One thing that I have experienced is something in Automator.

When I try to create a workflow, I include the iPhoto action 'Import Photos'. When I insert that action into the workflow, it then looks for the different photo albums I have to populate the select menu in which to import the photos in. As soon as I insert this action, there is a tremendous lag of about 45-60 seconds, while it seems that the program is looking for the names of my photo albums in iPhoto. Once that has finally happened, if I move the action to somewhere else in the workflow lineup or even just click on it, it starts all over again, taking another 45-60 seconds. I can't do anything else in Automator, and this is on a dual 2.0 G5.

This must be a bug? This is an important feature for me to use, but I find it useless if I have to sit around for 45-60 seconds every time I touch the action.

Has anyone experienced this?
