mouse tracking speed !?!

Why in the hell does my mouse jump back to the default tracking speed? I haven't had an application crash, logout, or run a full screen app in days. And my mouse decided it needed to be slow again. Is it just me? I hate when it's just me. My girlfriend always says it's just me, and I hate that. If it's just me I can accept that, but c'mon. Someone has had this happen right?

I have noticed this, but so far only after quitting Quake3, then it'll be dog slow...

I've had the mouse speedup stuff in the global domain set since before I upgraded to 10.1. No, it didn't work before 10.1, but that's how I figured out it did! Heh. It's been set since I updated to 10.1, and hasn't reset on me once. Though I haven't been running any games, so maybe that's the problem.
