iMovie *BAD* crash

Hello,

I have a reproducable crash in X, not 9, with iMovie. My Cannon ZR25 camera is daisy chained with Lacie HD, Lacie Burner, and the iBook. Importing multiple clips causes iMovie and the Finder to freeze. iMovie will quit after two force quits and the Finder never recovers. Once after the force reboot I had to use Disk Warrior to recover my drives! OS 9 works flawlessly with the same configuration.

Any ideas? I am trying my best to never reboot into 9 :-(
