 OS X Oddities Here are some oddities I've noticed using OSX on an oraiginal G4 450: - Can't start up off OS X disk, icon spins for a few seconds at startup then freezes. - IE 5.1 begins to startup and icon spins indefinitely, only restart makes it stop. - OmniWeb browser loads certain sites then opens new page with text. - Internet Connect won't act properly, click on connect and nothing happens, machine needs restart to fix. OS X is great and mostly I've enjoyed using it. My machine has an Adaptec 2906 scsi card installed which has caused some problems in the past, although I can't tell if any of the above problems are related to it.  |
