| Using Mac OS X.1, I can't copy a folder to other macs running system 9. I can copy the files within the folder, but not the folder itself. I have enclosed the small screen shot of the error I get below. Also, I often don't show up in their choosers even though I am shared. Does anybody have any suggestions? |

| Thanks for the suggestions. As for the folders - it is more than just one folder. Maybe it is long filenames that Mac OS 9 is rejecting? Connections over TCP/IP are enabled - otherwise I wouldn't be able to connect to them ![]() Haven't disk first aided my disk. Silly me. But if it were my disk - why should I be able to copy the contents of folders? Will try killing my PID of Appleshare in the most brutal way via command line ![]() |
