| Hello, I don't know if I am the only one that have this problem, but I don't think so. I set the basic configuration on my OS 9.1. The classic environment was working good in OS X. Now, I just updated to 9.2.1. Even If I set a basic 9.2 configuration, the classic environment never finish to start. There are no more extension-icons, but no disc appears on the temporary Classic desktop. But the process doesn't go on... I don't understand how it is possible. This problem appears in Mac OS X 10.0 to 10.1. What could I do to start my 9.2 from Mac OS X ? If I desactivate all extensions, the classic start without problem... does someone know which default extension is responsible for this problem ? Thank you for any help or suggestion. |

| Classic start problems my suggestion would be to play with extension manager or Conflict Catcher and try to figure out which one is causing the problem. There is no possible way to tell you which one as machines and extension sets differ. BTW: A friend of mine swears computers have personalities and his doesn't like him. ![]() |
