Canon Printers

Hi
My name is andy and about 5 months ago I bought a Multipass c555 and it works great and all then i got 10 and there is NO drivers for it and canon says there doing stuff about it but they have had no signs of progress, of course two weeks after XP comes out they have drivers for it already and its been almost been a year since tens been out and still no drivers.

Unhappy nice try...

Sounded good, but it looks like the C555 is one of the few printers in the world not listed as compatible...

That's annoying. I used to use a BJC4650 but it was quite old so no osx drivers. When it stopped working I ended up getting an S750 and its been great. I think you'll find the same problem with a lot of printer manufacturers. I tried to use a fairly recent xerox printer on my G4 and found there were no osx drivers. I've always liked Canons though, ever since I had a StyleWriter II, I've been quite happy with my new one.

Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for any inconvenience you have
experienced with the C555.
Unfortunately, the MultiPASS C555 is not compatible with Mac OS X.
There are currently no plans to develop drivers for this operating
system. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yes, it IS sort of inconvenient not to be able to USE THE THING!
