Talking System folder tries to open files

Since there ain't a mail app for X [yet] that meets my demands, I'm still using Outlook Express in Classic to do my mail stuff.
Unfortunately, this week it started doin' weird things...
Everytime I doubleclick on email attachments, Outlook Express tries to open them with my OS 9 System folder! This kinda sucks though as I always have to restart my classic environment afterwards because opening files with the system folder freezes OS 9.
I don't know y Outlook Express does this. The files I normally get by email are jpg files. They have the QuickTime PictureViewer Icon, so I don't get it y they open wit the system folder...

Red face Problem solved

Your so stupid man! Have u ever tried to rebuild the classic desktop db?? I guess not! In case u'r to dumb to know how to do it, I'll explain it to u:

1) Open up System preferences
2) Got to the classic preference panel
3) Click on "Rebuild desktop db"

Thats it. Everything should work fine again after this.
