Networking Hard Drive

I would like to add a Networked Hard Drive to my wireless network with two G4 PowerBooks I have an Airport Express but would be willing to buy another router or other peice of equipment (I already have an external USB HDD) I tried the Netgear Media Router (it wouldn't work and NETGEAR tech support was AWFUL)...What's the best way to do this with Mac? Any help would GREAT!
