| Sharing Usb Drive From Mac to Pc Hi, I have a Mac (OS X Tiger) with an external USB hard drive which I am trying to shair with my PC (XP) via a network connection through my ADSL router. I can share folders between the two fine, and I have a link to the USB drive on my mac which I can see on the PC, but it is an unkown file type. I previously had the USB drive on the PC and shared with the Mac OK. But as the mac only has a 40gb internal, and the PC has 300Gb then I really need to set it up this way. Is it possible? Cheers. |

| When sharing from a Mac to a PC via "Windows File Sharing," you're limited to sharing the contents of your home folder only on the Mac. Sounds like a job for SharePoints (which will let you share more than just your home directory): http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12512
