Gutenprint driver not working via SAMBA

Hi all, I hope someone can help.

I am trying to get my epson C60 to work over the network. It is connected via USB to by XP box.

I can sucessfully print over SAMBA with the standard epson CUPS driver but I would much prefer to use the Gutenprint epson C60 driver. However whenever I switch to use the Gutenprint driver it says printing but nothing happens. Everything is exactly the same but I am trying to use the Gutenprint driver.

Anyone else experienced this using the Gutenprint drivers?? Any ideas?
