    Virtual PC 3.0 with OS X?

    Will Virtual Pc 3.0 work OK with OS X?

    As far as I know, I don't think it will work. It requires Mac booted into OS 9 or below. I tried this with an (2.x) earlier version and it just wouldn't load in Classic Mode. You can give it a try, but I doubt it will since it was available new way before Mac OS X was even in development.

    VirtualPC 4.x and lower will not run under Classic. If you try you'll get a message that says something like "VirtualPC can not run in Blue Box" (which was the early name for Classic).

    VirtualPC 5.x and later are able to run natively in Mac OS X on G3 and G4 systems. VirtualPC 7.x is needed for G5 based systems and Microsoft has not yet released a version for Intel based systems.
