Linksys befsr41, westell 6100 verizon dsl

hi all,
very new here - my first post. Kindly forgive any errors. I'm trying to network a B&W G3 and a G4 to my verizon (westell 6100) DSL modem and Linksys BEFSR41 router. I am using Macintosh OS X 10.2.8. Linksys helpline was not at all helpful - I have battled with this for two days to no avail. Kindly help. Cheers, Les

the problem is I cannot conect to the internet.Error message: "Cannot connect to PPPoE server".IMHO the solution lies in proper configuration of 1) TCP/IP on macintosh 2) configuration of modem (bridged ethernet) and 3) configuration of Linksys (PPPoE). I have tried various combinations - but cannot connect.
