| Going wireless with G3s Hi I've been trying to find information on how to go wireless, and I've sent the following info off to Belkin, Maplin, and SpeedTouch asking for help on what to buy - and that was a week ago. So far they appear not to be interested in selling to me - go figure. In going wireless I have the following equipment (all G3s): 2 - iMac OS X 10.3.9 1 - iMac OS 9.1 1- iBook OS X 10.3.9 with Airport card 1 - Graphite Airport base station (not Express or Extreme) 1 - Belkin wireless USB adapter 802.11b 1 - USB modem that connects me to Virgin broadband Questions: 1) Do I need to upgrade the iMac OS 9.1 to OS X to get on a wireless system? 2) What do I need to buy that will work with the above hodge podge, or should I junk the present router/Airport base station and start all over with something new? Like go all Belkin? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Jerry |
