| IP printing on OSX
Hi, Can you create a TCP/IP printing port (like on Win2K/XP) to a networked printer on OSX? thanx, |

Open Print Center, click add, choose IP from the drop down and fill out the info. That should work. twister |

Yea that actualy worked for some printers but, I have another problem which I think relates to drivers. I created a tcp/ip print port to a printer but it spits out garbage. I used the generic driver. I downloaded the correct drivers for the printer which tells you to un-install the old drivers and install the new ones. how do I uninstall the old drivers??? thanx, |

A thought... What sort of printer is it? "Printing out garbage" suggests to me sending postscript to a non-postscript printer or vice-versa. I've got an HP2100TN, and it works perfectly with the supplied drivers in 10.2.. |
