    MacMini and W2K3 Server

    Hi,

Mac Mini. Mac OS X v 10.4.10. Intel core duo 1.83 GHz. 1GB DDR2 RAM.

I can connect fine to my network using the Vista half of the operation. I can get out via the internet when using the Mac but cannot see the network. This is only important when it comes to things like adding a printer. We only have network printers here and so it is extremely frustrating. The Mac has an IP address allocated by DHCP. Anyone tell me what I am not doing or doing wrong.

    Hi

Sorry I can't help with this, assuming you're following the normal steps to connect to a samba server - hit apple-k from desktop, type in smb://ip_address . You can also enable afp sharing on the 2k3 server, but I can't help more with that.

I think you might get a better response in the Networking forum - maybe a moderator can move this thread? I've just had a look over there, and there are a couple of threads with good-sounding advice.

Definitely doesn't belong in the BootCamp forum, yep. Moved.
