| Filesharing with windows XP I want to share files between windows XP and a mac and I know that macs can use smb to transfer files but I was wondering if theres something I can install on my Windows XP machine that will allow it to share files using afp? that way its more native to the mac. I did notice one program called MacServerIP but that costs $300 US. Is there a cheeper one? I'm not willing to spend $300 on this.

| For windows to read Apple OS X formatted disks try (for Windows) MacDrive. To share files with Windows machines take a look at Macfuse. To get past Leopard and windows connection flakiness read the first post in this Apple Discussion. Also try to put a Mac into a windows network keep the web site MacWindows in mind (this a very good site).
