 Please Help: Internet Connects, Webpages Wont Open. Hi, I have a macbook and it connects to most routers i have used recently, but now that i am living in a new place, it wont connect to the network (shared by 2 others). It works if i plug it in using the Ethernet plug, but not with wireless. I tried to manually configure the IP and it does nothing (I tried Manually with DHCP and Manually Without DHCP). I dont think is my driver, as it works with other modems who are nearby. Any ideas? Thanks   |

| Is the new network password protected? Does the Mac connect to the network, but not display any internet traffic (web browsing, etc.), or does it not connect to the network at all? Is the wireless router set up as a DHCP server or not? The short and skinny of it is that you need to know some things about the router and wireless network itself in order to get your Mac connected. Who set up the router? Who put or did not put a password on it? Who has access to administer the router?
