Could you please help me, becuse I have a network with Microsoft, Linux, and MacOS.
I have two Linux Server. On the first tere is runing a SAMBA Server and atalk. On the Second there is runing only the atalk.
I can log in to the second server where is not runing the SAMBA from a MACOS-X.
But I can not loging in into the SAMBA from a MACOSX.
Do you have any known problem like this.

Hey Satcomer, I am unable to find the SAMBA manual you linked to in your above message. Do you know why this might be? I am pretty sure that the link you gave above is correct, because I recall attempting to locate this manual before and encountering the same result. If, as i suspect, the manual is not present on my machine, I'm wondering what other manuals I might be missing out on,... Perhaps, it's on the OSX CD? Anyway, please anyone let me know if you have any idea/hypothesis why its not available on PowerBook G4 800 DVI (os X.2.4)
It's on mine. Perhaps it's installed with the Developer Tools?
Itman: what version of Mac Os X are you using? Are you able to ping the Samba/Linux server okay? Does it show up in the "Connect to Server" dialog at all?
You might be able to connect by going "Go - Connect to Server" and entering:
smb://serverIPaddress/
