The New "Airport Express" ?

Greetings,
I have the iMac 17-inch 1.83GHz with OS 10.4.11 and wish to go wireless. Can I use the new AirPort Express Base Station with 802.11n and AirTunes? I've read I cannot use the 802.11n Enabler. I'm just not sure if the base station will work without the Enabler. Thanks for your time.
