Is you company using OpenSSL for SSL? If so, are they using Debian GNU/Linux servers? If that's also the case, there was a major security issue with the OpenSSL package for Debian and it was updated a few weeks ago. The big problem with this is that any server that generated the certificates using the old vulnerable version of OpenSSL would need to regenerate those certificates.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the case your having, but I thought that you might want to know that this could be an issue.

The only other thing I could think it might be is that the certificate that you have has expired, in which case you might have to remove that certificate for your site and have it install a new one. Not sure about Safari on the iPhone, but there should be a way to access the certificates within Safari and remove the one for your company's e-mail server.

Hope this helps somehow....
