Google and Yahoo are inacessible

I cannot access Yahoo nor Google from my mac. I created another account and it could access it? Which was weird. It is not my dns, I changed from my comcast dns to opendns and it's still the same thing. Edit: google.com is only accessible for a short while on the new account but after awhile it won't be.

I cannot ping it, nor traceroute, but dig works?

I have a linksys wap and a linksys business class router, I have not messed with it's settings...working for more than 2 years and all of the sudden just doesnt work...

The sites are accessible if I use tor/vidalia.

I really don't want to do a re-install of leopard because then it needs another gigabyte of updates and that would take several days on my puny connection.

I really dont want to do a reinstall simply because I can't access some websites..

If you use Safari, try emptying its Cache (Safari ~> Empty Cache) if that doesn't help, delete com.apple.Safari.plist which you'll find at:
YourUserAccount ~> Library ~> Preferences
Log out then back in and try to access those sites.

Since you haven't said which web browser you're using I only gave the Safari tip, but regardless of the browser, you need to empty the Cache and delete the appropriate .plist file ... if you're not sure, just ask.
