Is this possible?

I'm getting a MacBook and i'm wanting to play music through my speakers.

But, I don't want to use cables.
Is it possible (like the airport base stations) to use an old mac to play through the speakers?

I'm wanting to play music from the Macbook via the G4.

Or.. is it possible to use the Macbook as a remote (just like iPhones), but playing via the G4 would be better.

If worse comes to worse, i'll have to get a airport module.
