| How to view available computers on a remote computer
I can ssh to a remote computer no problems, But what I really need to do is connect to other computers on the same LAN as the remote computer I have ssh-ed into. I would simply remember the private IP addresses, but there are a great many computers on the network. If I was sitting in front of the remote computer's keyboard I would choose "New Remote Connection" from the Shell menu, and on clicking the Secure Shell service I would be presented with all available computers. So my question is, how can I view all available computers on the network, solely from the command line. Thanks! |

Well are you using 10.4.x or 10.5.x? I ask because there are different ways for the two versions.
