One MAC address grabbing 10 DHCP addresses

I'm running OSX 10.4.11 Server on G5 Dual 2.3Ghz PPC XServe.

XServe is the DHCP server for Mac/Win clients. I have static maps set for all desktop computers. Our main IP Address range is 10.0.1.1 - 254. I have a Subnet in the same address range of 20 addresses to be reserved for DHCP to give to any wireless clients that may come in and out of the network as portable users.

My issue: one of the 12 Windows machines (running Server 2000) which is assigned a static DHCP address, is also grabbing 10 addresses out of the Subnet. It shows up in Server Admin with an IPv6 hardware address. All other clients in the list as IPv4.

The machine in question is running Heidelberg's MetaDimensions Print Manager software. One of the Heidelberg techs (not a system/networking specialist) suggested that the Master Browser be turned off in that machine, but beyond that wasn't any help.

Any ideas as to why this machine is grabbing 10 other ip addresses?

In my shop the problem is older devices confusing IPv6 and IPv4 addresses causing strange and complex problem. So either go all IPv6 or IPv4 when using older equipment in the network and don't mix the two sub-netting protocols.

How would I go about this? Is it coming from the Windows box?
