paysan is on a distinguished road
Sharing files and folders

Scenario:

1. iMAC with AIRPORT 192.168.2.230
LAN ETH3 10.0.0.230

2. PC with WirelessLAN 192.168.2.220
LAN 10.0.0.220

3. Network printer 10.0.0.11

4. Switch 10.0.0.x ( for the UTP based network segment)
The PC and the printer and the iMac are connected to this switch.
This is the 10.0.0.x segment.

5. Router ( Thomson Speedtouch ) for ADSL an wireless AP. 192.168.2.x

From both the PC and the iMAC I can reach the internet via the Router using the wireless connection.
This is the 192.168.2.x segment.

From both the PC and the iMAC I can use the printer via the UTP connection via the switch.

I can ping to the 10.0.0.230 addresses from the PC to the iMAC
And the other way around.

I can telnet to the imac from the PC.

So what is the problem now.

I dont see any shares.

Before I installed the UTP 10.0.0.x segment (yesterday) I did see the shares.
In other words, the sharing worked before by using the Wireless connection.

Maybe I have to tell the PC and the mac to use the UTP interface for sharing files and folders.
But How do I do this?

I hope Im clear enough.....
