Using Email & VPN

We have a person who works at home and has an Emac running Panther. We have her connecting through our VPN and we can see she is connected, but she cannot get her email through Entourage and cannot see her hard drive on our server from home. We have set up Entourage to IMAP through our server XX_Exchange but she keeps getting an error that it cannot connect. Is there some settings that we are missing on her end or is it an authentication issue on our end?"

Is she using Entourage X or 2004? Exchange 2000 or 2003?

Our exchange folks had to make an Exchange (not SMTP) "alias" of my "LAST_NAME, FIRST_NAME" to just be first-initial + last name before I could get this to work.

Also make sure that her Mac has your internal DNS servers listed in the Network Pref Pane... Otherwise she might not be able to hit any non-public internal servers by name.
