Airport Exteme and Linksys wga54g game adapter

Can't seem to get linksys wireless game adapter to talk to my airport extreme base station. I gave the game adapter its own IP address and the WEP setting from the airport but I could not get the Wireless LED to illuminate. Anybody had any luck with this?
